Through Prague by bike

The city is constantly improving its cycling infrastructure and offers a range of routes for both experienced cyclists and families with children.

Bike rental in Prague

There are several bike rental companies in and around the city centre. You can rent city bikes for short distances or bikes for a day trip.

Prague is hilly, so crossing from one side of the Vltava River to the other can sometimes be a bit more physically demanding, but riding along the river is great fun and you can find many lovely bars and pubs along the way, or even places to take a dip.

If you hire a bike for the day, you can also cycle to some lovely places just outside Prague.

The trip can easily be combined with a train journey.
