Prague: City of love

Prague is the 2nd most romantic city in Europe. Did you know that? Prague has a lots of breath-taking views, fairy tale cobblestone streets and pastel-coloured buildings, chapels, castles, candlelit dinners, and horse-drawn carriages is the ideal recipe for romance. As one walks the historic bridges and old parts of the city, one will hear buskers playing classic old music that catapults one back to the times of Mozart and Beethoven.

 

 

Prague is one of the continent's main tourist attractions. In fact, it is Europe's 4th most visited city after Paris, London, and Rome.

You can lock your love here. Couples are usually place a lock inscribed with their names on a bridge, lock it and throw away the key. All of this is done in the name of everlasting love.

1. Take a romatic river cruise

Sail along Prague’s very own Venice canals and the Vltava River on a romantic cruise on a historical boat tour. In addition to the classic organized sightseeing cruises, you can rent a rowboat or pedal boat, or even spend a relaxing afternoon on one of the river’s islands.

 

 

2. Visit Vyšehrad castle

Head to its gardens for an idyllic spot for a picnic and head there an hour before dusk for an amazing view of the sunset over the Vltava river and Prague Castle and a romantic stroll alongside the historic fort walls.

 

 

3. Visit Petřín tower

The Petřín Lookout Tower is a steel-framework tower on Petřín Hill in Prague. It resembles the Eiffel Tower. You can visit there a mirror maze and Rose garden. 

 

 

4. Prague Castle

Visiting Prague Castle will be a highlight of your time in the city, with a depth of heritage to explore and a series of other magnificent things to see in the Prague Castle Complex.

 

 

5. Old Town Square

The Old Town Square is the oldest and most significant square in the historical centre of Prague. 

 

 

6. Bubble point view Terasa U Prince

The Roof Terrace Café is located on the roof of the U Price Hotel and offers a fantastic view over Prague. The astronomical clock on the tower of the Old Town Hall on one side, Prague Castle on the other, the panoramic view is hard to beat.

 

 

7. Charles bridge 

Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge still standing over the Vltava river in Prague and the second oldest bridge in the Czech Republic. From the bridge there is a beautiful view of Prague Castle. 

 

 

8. Prague parks ( Stromovka, Letná, Rieger)

Prague’s historic gardens and parks are a treasure that the bustling capital can truly boast about. There are over two hundred of them, and their foundations date back to the Middle Ages.
